The Switchboards began when a group of indie business women decided that there needed to be a place on the web where they could talk "shop"...creative shop, that is!

About Us:
Leah is our Forum Admin and Article "Go To" person. When she's not making the rounds over at The Switchboards' Forum, Leah's hard at work with her online business, Uplifting Arts. Vanessa, Webmaster and Financial Watch Dog, spends the majority of her time between The Switchboards and her indie shop, Gerbera Designs.

Mission Statement:
The Switchboards was founded in March 2004 to support and publicize creative women in business through the use of an online community forum, product displays, mutual links and joint advertising.
